The Lost Boys is a 1987 horror/comedy movie, directed by Joel Schumacher,
about a single mom's older son, Michael (Jason Patric) becoming involved with
a vampire biker gang and younger son, Sam (Corey Haim) trying to save him
when they move to a small coast town in California.
Lucy (Dianne Wiest) gets a job from video store-owner Max (Edward Herrmann)
and begins to date him. Soon, Michael falls in with vampires run by leader,
David (Kiefer Sutherland) when he flirts with half-vampire, Star (Jami Gertz).

When Michael goes to their hangout, he unknowingly drinks from a bottle full
of David's blood and unwilling becomes a half-vampire.
Sam and his friends, the overly intense Frog brothers (Corey Feldman and
Jamison Newlander), need to destroy David and the other vampires before Michael
loses his struggle with temptation.
The Lost Boys became a pop-culture hit because of its attractive
young actors and offbeat soundtrack.
